How do you deal with the coronavirus?
In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to maximize the safety of our guests and employees, we have made a COVID-19 protocol.
At what time can I check in/out?
Check-in is 3.00pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 12.00 noon on the day of departure. We will gladly store your luggage for short periods before check-in and after check-out.
How can I pay for my room?
You may pay for the room in cash, with a debit or a credit card. Please note we do not accept banknotes higher than € 100,-.
Please note that the credit card which is used to make the booking needs to be shown upon check-in. The name of the booker needs to be the same as the name on the credit card. If this is not possible, and the credit card only serves as a guarantee for the reservation, please fill out our credit card guarantee form. If the credit card will be used to pay for the reservation, please fill out our credit card authorization form. Please send us the signed form via e-mail together with a copy of the front and back of the credit card.
Is it possible to put an extra bed in my room?
We can provide an extra bed in the 3 star rooms and up. Extra beds are available on request and subject to a small surcharge of € 40,- per night for adult beds, and € 25,- per night for children under 12 years. Cots for children under the age of 2 years are available at no cost.
Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
The side hotel entrance and certain rooms have wheelchair-friendly access. Please be so kind to mention you require a wheelchair accessible room when making a reservation.
How may I reach Lloyd Hotel by public transport?
Lloyd Hotel is only a 10-minute tram ride away from Amsterdam Central Station. Take tram 26 in the direction of IJburg, after 3 stops exit the tram at Rietlandpark. From the tram stop it is a 3-minute walk to our front door.
Public transport tickets (from 24 hours – 96 hours) can be purchased from reception starting from € 8,00. You can also pre-buy your tickets online.
It is not possible to pay with cash in a bus or a tram.
Can I park my car at Lloyd Hotel?
Parking is available at garage Rietlandpark on the Oostelijke Handelskade 355. Please press “16” to enter the garage. The pedestrian exit is at the back of the hotel. The cost is € 4,00 per hour and € 30,00 for 24 hours. The parking garage is not wheelchair accessible, there are special parking spaces on the street.
Do you sell museum tickets in order to avoid long queues?
You may purchase tickets for the following museums at our reception:

How do I reach the hotel by taxi from Schiphol Airport?
Prices from the airport to Lloyd Hotel vary per taxi. We recommend TCA, with a fixed price of € 45,00 (one way, maximum 4 persons) between the hotel and Schiphol Airport. Please note: this special price is only applicable if you pre-book, your taxi mentioning Lloyd Hotel via TCA. Please report at the STA-desk at Schiphol (arrival terminal 4) and do not just take a taxi. Click here to order your taxi in advance for the special rate.
Can I rent a bike at the hotel?
Bicycles can be rented at reception for € 17,- per day, including partial buy off own risk. We ask for a deposit of € 100,- per bike. Bicycles are subject to availability.
Do you offer sport facilities?

WiFi is available at no charge throughout the hotel. If you require access to a computer, a desktop computer is available for guests on the first platform.

Am I allowed to smoke in my room?
Lloyd Hotel is a non-smoking hotel, in accordance with Dutch regulations. A fee of € 150,- is charged for cleaning a room in case of smoking.
Can I bring my pet with me?
You are welcome to bring your dog. We do ask not to leave your pet alone in the room.
